The duration of the event will be 25 days (excluding international travel) with 10 days in the partner State. The 25 day period includes the date of arrival and departure. Eligibility CriteriaNRIs are not eligible for KIPsAge : The programme is open to youth of Indian origin (excluding non-resident Indians) in the age group of 18-30 years, as on first day of the month in which the programme is expected to begin. It is open to PIO youths from all over the world. Eligible PIOs may submit their application online for KIP programmes on KIP portal www.kip.gov.in. The application should reach us on or before 21 July, 2017. The applicants can indicate their preferences online for any three KIPs. Educational Qualification : Minimum qualification is graduation from a recognized University/Institute enrolled for graduation. Language : The applicant should be able to speak in English, should have studied English as a subject at the High school level or have English as the medium of instruction for undergraduate course. Selected applicants pay just 10% of the airfareThe Embassy will arrange for return air tickets, before participants leave for India, after KIP participants pays 10% of total airfare. The participant also needs to give a written undertaking that he shall complete the KIP, failing which amount spent on airfare by Govt. of India will be reimbursed to the Embassy of India, Addis Ababa. |
