Last Updated on December 15, 2020 The Ministry has announced commencement of 57th, 58th and 59th Editions of Know India Programme (KIP) for the Indian youth Diaspora in the age group of 18-30 yrs with an objective to connect them with their motherland and to give them an exposure about the various aspects of contemporary India form of Art, Culture and heritage etc. Details of programmes are as under:
Minimum qualification is graduation from a recognized University/Institute. The applicant should be able to speak in English, should have studied English as a subject at the High school level or have English as the medium of instruction for undergraduate course. The Embassy will arrange for return air tickets, before participants leave for India, after KIP participants pays 10% of total airfare. The participant also needs to give a written undertaking that he shall complete the KIP, failing which amount spent on airfare by Govt. of India will be reimbursed to the Embassy of India, Addis Ababa.
