Information about ICCR Scholarship for the Academic Year 2022-23 .

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Government of India has decided to offer 55 scholarships to Ethiopian nationals for the academic session 2022-23 for pursuing studies in Under-Graduate/Post Graduate/PhD and Post-Doctoral courses, for which facilities are available in the Indian Universities/Institutions.  Scholarship would include free tuition, stipend and air ticket.  Applicants must be between the age of 18-30 years.

Interested students may apply online at A2A ICCR portal http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/ . Students can browse the ‘Guidelines’ icon to download the physical fitness and other relevant forms.

Applicants have the option to apply to 5 Universities/Institutes in the order of their preference of study.  The admission, as far as possible, shall be given as per applicant’s preference.  However, there may be a scenario when students do not get admission in their preferred Universities/Institutes due to limited number of seats on offer.  Students should therefore be prepared to receive admission from any of their five preferences.

It is compulsory for all ICCR scholarship students to procure Medical Insurance policy with minimum sum assured for India Rupees Five Lakhs (equivalent to USD 6508 approximately) per annum. Students can purchase medical insurance from any of the insurance companies of their choice.  However to facilitate students, A2A Portal has two insurance companies for referral purpose.

The last date for submission of applications through A2A ICCR portal is 31st May, 2022.
