Secretary (ER) Meeting with the Minister of State of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia

The Indian delegation led by Mr. Dammu Ravi, Secretary (Economic Relations), Ministry of External Affairs, along with Mr. Mayank Singh, Joint Secretary (East & Southern Africa) had a warm and constructive meeting with H.E. Ambassador Hadera Abera, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (12 June).

The discussions touched upon a range of bilateral matters, including development cooperation, capacity building, trade and investment, and cultural exchange. Both sides acknowledged the deep-rooted historical and civilizational ties between India and Ethiopia and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening this vibrant partnership.

India’s relationship with Ethiopia continues to be anchored in trust, mutual growth, and shared values — spanning decades of cooperation and friendship.
