Ethiopia And India Sign Bilateral Market Access Protocol Within Ethiopia’s WTO Accession Framework

India and Ethiopia signed the bilateral accession protocol in the context of Ethiopia’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) on 22nd May 2026 in Geneva. The Protocol concludes the long-standing bilateral negotiations between the two countries and includes mutually agreed market access commitments and benefits in both goods and services sectors.

The Protocol was signed by Ambassador Tsegab Kebebew Kebebew, Permanent Representative of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, and Senthil Pandian, Permanent Representative of the Republic of India to the WTO.
