The Embassy of India in Ethiopia organized the Prize distribution ceremony during the celebration of 80th Independence Day. As part of the celebrations of the 80th Independence Day of India, the Embassy of India, Addis Ababa organised a series of competitions and initiatives celebrating India’s rich heritage, diversity, achievements and vision for the future.
We were delighted to recognise and honour the winners of:
(i) Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz
(ii) Painting Competition Theme: “Viksit Bharat 2047”
(iii) Photography Competition – Theme: “India Through My Lens”
(iv) #MyIndiaMyStory Campaign
The winners were felicitated and presented with their prizes and certificates by Charge d’Affaires a.i. Shri Mukesh Ghiya.
Each competition offered a different way to connect with India — through art, photography, personal stories and knowledge — while celebrating the enduring bonds between India and its friends and communities. The Embassy heartfelt congratulated to all the winners and participants.
