Cultural evening by Indian Women’s Association (6 March 2021)

Embassy in collaboration with Indian Women’s Association organized a cultural evening to commemorate the International Women’s Day. The programme included yoga dance, Garhwali dance, Bollywood dance, Ethiopian dances, solo and group songs and culminated with a fashion show on costumes from various states of India.

The event was attended by about 250 guests including H.E. Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, Minister of Labour & Social Affairs, Dr. Negeri Lencho, MP and Chairperson of Foreign Relations and Peace Affairs Standing Committee and Hon. Hordofa Bekele, MP. The event contributed significantly to the promotion of India culture in Ethiopia.
