Debre Birhan – Reception & Business Roundtable (19 August 2022)

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav / India@75 celebrations in Ethiopia, Embassy of India held a Reception and a Roundtable on Business Collaboration between India and Debre Birhan/North Shewa zone in Debre Birhan.

Deputy Mayor of Debre Birhan and Mayor of Tulefa attended the event. Representatives of Indian factories based in Debre Birhan, Tulefa and Sendafa also attended the event. India Business Forum and prominent Indian investors based in Addis Ababa were invited to the Reception.

Presentation on business/investment opportunities in Debre Birhan was made by the investment bureau. Another presentation on India-Ethiopia bilateral relations, economic opportunities between India and Ethiopia and star sectors of India was well received. Mr. Sunil Verma from India Business Forum made a presentation on the Industry Sector – a perspective.
