Hindi Diwas (Hindi Day) was celebrated in the Embassy of India, Addis Ababa on 14th September 2014 for commemorating the adoption of Hindi as the official language of India on 14th September 1949. It was celebrated together with a gathering of Hindi loving Ethiopian friends and Indian Community with recital of poems, songs, storytelling, narration in Hindi and a quiz in Hindi.
