India Africa ICT Expo at Addis Ababa (9 August 2023)

H.E. Huria Ali, State Minister for Innovation and Technology inaugurated the India Africa ICT Expo at Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa. The expo is organized Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC) of India and Ethiopian Ministry of Innovation and Technology with the support of Embassy of India. Supporting partners are Addis Ababa Chambers of Commerce & Sectoral Association, ICT Association Ethiopia and India-Africa ICT Forum.

About 30 ICT companies from India and 50 Ethiopian companies are participating in the event.

TEPC has been organizing India Africa ICT Expo since 2015. It was organized in Kenya (2015 & 2016), Nigeria (2017 & 2018), Rwanda (2019 & 2020) and Ghana (2021 & 2022). During past years, Indian telecom companies have received good responses from the African telecom industry and many Indian and African companies have started working together.

Indian telecom network is the second largest telecom network across the globe. Indian companies have vast experience in building telecommunication & IT infrastructure, fiber and wireless networks, broadband connectivity solutions, ICT software and applications applicable for licensed service providers, secured networks, green telecom solutions, disaster management, M2M, smart city solutions, 4G & 5G network equipment, system integration services and much more.

This Expo will facilitate companies from India and Ethiopia to meet and discuss possible business collaboration in ICT and related services.
