1. International Day of the Girl Child (11 Oct 2022)
2. On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, we were delighted to receive Ms. Yordanos Zerhun, a student from Addis Ababa University. Ms. Yordanos Zerhun interacted with all of us at the embassy. She led us into discussions about the importance of giving opportunities to the girl child. We briefed her about the various initiatives of the Government of India for the girl child.
3. Ms. Yordanos Zerhun also interacted with Indian Women’s Association. She also exchanged pleasantries with Ms. Ritushri Chaudhuri and her Kathak team. Ms. Yordanos Zerhun is very passionate about providing opportunities to the girl child and we wish her the very best in her future endeavor.
