International Women’s Day (9 March 2023)

To commemorate International Women’s Day, Indian Women’s Association – Ethiopia visited Mary joy Ethiopia’s Asko centre in Addis Ababa. IWA donated food items and medicines to the centre.

Mary Joy Ethiopia is an Ethiopian charity organization working to empower vulnerable community groups through integrated development programs. The Asko centre runs a clinic that serves the medical needs of the people either at nominal rate or completely free to the poorest. It also has a community kitchen that provides meals to those who cannot afford a square meal a day.
