Meeting with President of Mettu University (5 April 2022)

Ambassador was delighted to receive the President of Mettu University. They discussed possible areas of collaboration including with Indian universities and ICCR scholarships. Ambassador encouraged the Indian faculty at Mettu University to undertake outreach initiatives for the benefit of local communities in and around Mettu.

President of Mettu University recalled the earlier visit of Shri Rajvir Singh and Shri Amrendra Jha from Indian Embassy to the university in December 2021. He mentioned that this was the first ever visit from the Indian Embassy to the university.
