National Youth Day / Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was enthusiastically celebrated in Ethiopia. Volleyball matches were played in four different locations in Ethiopia – Addis Ababa, Bishoftu, Bole Lemi and Gelan.

On the occasion, members of the Hindu Mahajan organized a volleyball match at the Hilton Hotel in Addis Ababa. The Indian Samaj organized a lively volleyball match in Bishoftu. A volleyball match was held at the Bole Lemi Industrial Park and Aarti Steel held a match at its premises in Gelan.
