POORNA – Indian film screened at High School in Nekemte (24 Feb 2022)

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav / India@75 celebrations in Ethiopia, the screening of the Indian film “Poorna” was held at Kidane Mehiret High School in Nekemte. 270 students of Class IX & X watched the film. Also, 30 teachers and staff joined the students and watched the film. The film is about a young girl Poorna’s determination and journey – becoming the youngest girl in the world to climb Mount Everest.

 

The students were asked to their give their feedbacks. Many of them commended the inspiring message about realising dreams, maximising opportunities, adventure, willpower and a win by breaking barriers like tragedy, hurdles and improbability.
