Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Award – 2019

The Ministry of External Affairs has been approached by various organizations and individuals regarding the forthcoming PBD Convention 2019 and PBSA (Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Award). The following points are being clarified in this regard:

(i) PBD Convention (Pravasi Bhartiya Divas) 2019 will be held in Varanasi and the details of the convention and the related events would be announced soon.
(ii) A new website and App for PBD Convention 2019 are being developed which would be launched during the Press Conference of External Affairs Minister & Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in May/June, 2018.

regar (iii) With regard to PBSA, a provision of Self Nomination has been added for Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Award (PBSA). Any individual/ organization having the eligibility criteria for PBSA has the option to send his/her nomination directly to the Ministry through email: pbsaward@mea.gov.in. Hard copy of the nomination form alongwith supporting documents may be sent to: Joint Secretary (OIA II), Ministry of External Affairs, Room No. 916, Akbar Bhawan, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi.
