Travel Advisory to Ethiopia

“In view of the prevailing situation in Amhara and Oromia, the following travel advisory may be noted:

(i) University teachers and other Indians returning to Amhara should consider extending their vacation till normalcy returns. Travel to anywhere in Amhara region, especially to Bahirdar and Gondar, should not be undertaken and avoided.

(ii) All Indians going in to Oromia from Addis Ababa should take extreme precaution and, must be certain, before embarking, if the journey to their respective destination is safe. Journey should be undertaken only if it is absolutely necessary.”
