Embassy of India, Addis Ababa Celebrates Hindi Diwas with Cultural Performances

On 20th September 2025, the Embassy of India in Addis Ababa celebrated Hindi Diwas / Pakhwada with great enthusiasm, joined by both the Indian diaspora and the Ethiopian community. The occasion beautifully reflected the spirit of unity in diversity, highlighting how language and culture unite people.
The program featured Hindi poems, plays, dramas, songs, and more, showcasing the richness of Hindi as a language of expression and creativity. The performances were warmly received, creating an atmosphere of joy, togetherness, and cultural pride.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and helped make this celebration a memorable one, further strengthening the cultural ties between India and Ethiopia.
