India-Ethiopia Conference on Medical Value Travel Strengthens Healthcare Partnerships

Ambassador of India to Ethiopia, Mr. Anil Kumar Rai delivered the inaugural address, followed by remarks from H.E. Ms. Huria Ali Mahdi, State Minister for Social Affairs, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The conference featured expert presentations on cutting-edge medical technologies, advancements in interventional cardiology, and health infrastructure by leading Indian healthcare professionals. A special segment of patient testimonials highlighted real success stories of Ethiopians who received treatment in India reflecting the tangible impact of this growing partnership.
A vibrant panel discussion, interactive Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities further strengthened the collaborative spirit between both nations in the healthcare sector.
Recognized as the “Pharmacy of the World,” India continues to work closely with Ethiopia to strengthen local pharmaceutical production, ensure access to affordable and quality medicines, and support Ethiopia’s vision for a self-reliant healthcare system.
