Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in Addis Ababa with floral tributes to Gandhi, singing of Bhajan and recitation of poetry. Indian children participated in a painting competition. A painting competition on the theme ”Ethiopia – Unity in Diversity” was held at the Indian International School.

Hindi Diwas in Addis Ababa (16 Sept 2023)

Hindi Diwas was celebrated at the Embassy of India in Addis Ababa. About 100 Indian nationals and friends of India attended the event. Performances included poetry recitation, rendition of popular Hindi songs and an excellent short skit in Hindi which was performed by Ethiopian friends.
