Hindi Diwas was celebrated at the Embassy of India in Addis Ababa. About 100 Indian nationals and friends of India attended the event. Performances included poetry recitation, rendition of popular Hindi songs and an excellent short skit in Hindi which was performed by Ethiopian friends.

Indian nationals and friends of India celebrated 77th Independence Day of India at the Embassy of India premises in Addis Ababa. The event included reading of the Hon’ble President’s address to the nation which was followed by patriotic songs and dance. An exhibition on Partition Horrors Remembrance was also held.
