Call on H.E. Mr. Hailemariam Dessalegn, former Prime Minister of Ethiopia (30 May 2025)

Today, the all-party Parliamentary delegation started their official engagements with meeting HE Mr. Hailemariam Dessalegn, former PM of Ethiopia. As PM of Ethiopia, he visited India for the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit in October 2015. HE Mr. Hailemariam was the DPM and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia and had played crucial role in holding the 2nd India-Africa Forum Summit in May 2011 at Addis Ababa. At the outset, HE Mr. Hailemariam expressed heartfelt condolences to the victims of Pahalgam terror attack and extended his sympathy to those injured in attack and wished speedy recovery. He emphasized that terror in any form and manifestation cannot be justified under any circumstances and expressed the solidarity of people of Ethiopia with India.
