Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship programme of that seeks to reconnect PIOs in the age-group of 21-35 years to their ethnic roots besides showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and its recent spectacular developmental efforts. The programme endeavours to present various facets of contemporary Indian Art, Heritage, Culture, Economy, Innovations, Start-ups, Science & Technology, etc., to the youth members of the Indian Diaspora and strives to motivate and inspire them to contribute and participate in the transformative initiatives of the Government of India as part of its march towards Viksit Bharat. Since its inception in 2003-04, it has been successfully organized 81 editions of the KIP with participation of 2922 youth PIO members. Government of India plans to organise the 82nd edition of the KIP from 12 to 31 May 2025 as the first in the series of many for this financial year. As has been the practice of the past, 40 youth PIO members in the age group of 21-35 years would be invited to visit India for a 3-week programme with the aforesaid intended purpose.
