A delegation led by Secretary (ER) visited Addis Ababa on 23-24 January 2026, meeting the AU Commission Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson, as well as senior officials including Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security and incoming Chair of the Permanent Representative Committee. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and deepening the India-Africa partnership ahead of IAFS IV.
