PM Narendra Modi was warmly received by Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Ali and accorded a ceremonial welcome at the National Palace ahead of the bilateral talks. PM Modi laid a wreath at the Adwa Victory Monument in Addis Ababa and awarded Ethiopia’s highest honor ‘Great Honor Nissan of Ethiopia’ for strengthening India-Ethiopia partnership during his historic visit to Ethiopia. PM Modi has planted trees in the compound of the House of Representatives of Ethiopia.
